Saturday July 15 saw the successful restart of the Tibshelf Open Gardens event after a break of 3 years. Approximately 250 people supported the event and 15 venues were open including, for the first time, Tibshelf Allotments and Tibshelf Ponds area.

The Church was the central hub where refreshments and lunches were available. Food was provided by Mount Gurkha Village and Deakins. Tibshelf Green Bunch ran a plant sales stand within the Church and there were exhibitions by Tibshelf Art Group and Tibshelf Local History Society.

The final amount raised was £2,787.84 which all goes towards keeping the church open and operational for the benefit of the whole community.
